The Public Carriage Office (PCO) is presently consulting on the licensing of motorbikes as Private Hire Vehicles here in the capital. You should note that Leeds City Council rejected an application by a company to operate a mini-cab motorcycle service. The Queen's Bench division of the High Court upheld the decision of the City Council.

 

It is the opinion of Ltcpr that motorcycles are not a safe method or mode of transport for fare paying passengers and we shall therefore be refering the Public Carriage Office to the decision made by Leeds City Council.
